It was a cheeky and charming performance that had everyone in their seats bopping. As soon as they appeared on stage, you could sense the electricity in the air and knew right then that it was going to be something unique.
What do you get when you mix Meghan’s playful energy and Charlie Puth’s charm? A sizzling performance that had the whole crowd loudly cheering by the end. As soon as they stepped onstage, they had amazing chemistry from the very start. Meghan started the duo off with her sultry vocals. The visuals combined with their infectious energy, it became nearly impossible not to fall into the groove. The crowd was well into it, dancing in their chairs. Some even getting up to dance. It gave a real sense of atmosphere that even radiated through our screens at home.
Let’s not forget legendary musician and cultural icon Marvin Gaye who still has immense influence in today’s modern artists. Marvin is often called the “Prince of Motown” and has several No.1 hits including “Let’s Get It On” which is where the inspiration came from for Charlie Puth’s and Meghan Trainor’s hit song. Marvin Gaye also won several Grammy’s and went on to be inducted into The Rock N’ Roll Hall of Fame in 1987. Solidifying his legacy as being one of the most influential musicians in history.
