Reid Wilson, a talented 14 year old kid from Alabama, took the stage on America’s Got Talent and sang an unforgettable You Don’t Own Me, Leslie Gore’s famous song, that earned him a golden buzzer! Wait until you see which judge it was to press the golden button!
One thing is for sure: looks can be deceiving! His speaking voice may be soft but his singing voice is powerful! Reid’s journey reminds us that a kid with hopes and big dreams can end up as a golden buzzer recipient. When Reid was done singing, AGT Judge Howie Mandel couldn’t help but be so impressed with 14 year-old Reid that he had to press the golden buzzer which each judge only gets ONE to give out each season! So whichever contestant receives a golden buzzer, it’s a real honor as you get to go directly to the live shows!
Either way, we know bright things are in Reid’s future and we can’t wait to see what else awaits on his musical journey!
