During her concert in North Adelaide, Australia, Pink, real name, Alecia Beth Moore, brought out her daughter, Willow, to join her in a duet performing her uplifting song “Cover Me In Sunshine.” Willow was just like a mini-me of Pink, clearly inheriting her mother’s wide vocal range and wowing the crowd!
Pink is known for her energetic performances and her strong, raspy voice. As well as her upbeat and empowering songs, which she often performs during daring acrobatic stunts at her concerts!
During this particular performance, Pink was speaking to the crowd recounting a funny mother-daughter moment about how she was recording for her album and her daughter popped in asking if she could sing with her. Pink happily said, “of course you can sing with me.” Most artists will record several takes of the same song, however her daughter had the “one and done” mentality, earning her the nickname “One Take Willow” according to Pink.
Pink starts the first half of the song as a solo. Delivering a heartfelt and sweet performance. The crowd starts loudly cheering as Willow comes on stage to perform the second half of the joyful song. Her mom standing next to her with the biggest smile! She let Willow have her moment and be the spotlight, letting the audience really take in her stunning vocals that clearly run in the family!
Without a doubt, this was a proud moment for Pink, seeing her daughter shine on stage. Seemingly, in awe herself as it’s apparent performing comes natural to her daughter! Although, we can guess where she gets it from. Willow finishes the song and waves at the crowd grinning ear to ear! Just before leaving, she gives her mom a big hug.
This is far from the only performance Willow has accompanied her mom in. She performed many times with her and her talent just continues to grow! We can’t wait to see what more awaits for her in the future!
